Yap! is a recurring peer-led gathering for queer individuals wanting a sober space to share, listen, and connect. This is not therapy or a recovery group, but a space for open exchange – about substance use, pleasure, shame, loneliness, sex, identity, and the complexities of queer party culture.
Join us if you’re seeking:
Authentic connection: Peer-to-peer support without hierarchy or authority. No professionals, no diagnoses – only people with shared experiences holding space for each other.
Confidentiality and respect: Everything shared remains confidential. We listen with respect – without interruptions or unsolicited advice. Anyone may share, but no one has to.
No stigma: Expect a cultivated, non-judgmental environment for reflection, accountability, and care.
Meetings take place every Tuesday for two hours (18:00–20:00); the location is provided after joining the group. New members complete a short intake survey and have a quick intro session with a host, ensuring everyone feels welcome.
